Copper Coated Steel Earth Rod / Ground Rod
Earth Rod is apply 99.95% pure copper on low carton steel by electroplating. It is a molecularly bonding. Production strictly follows national and international standards such as UL467 and BS7430. Copper layer is usually 254 microns. Popular diameters are 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4". Earth rod can be threaded and tipped.
We introduced automatic electroplating production line so as to guarantee the electroplating quality and large production capacity. Copper bonded earth rod has advantages of high conductivity and anti-corrosion. It is easy to install.
Specification and characteristics:
1. 99.95% pure copper and Q235 low carton steel
2. copper layer ≥ 254 microns
3. tensile strength ≥ 570N/mm²
4. capable of being bent 180 degrees without cracks
5. usage life more than 50 years
Normal threads: 1/2", 5/8",M16, 3/4",M20,M22 and M27.
Normal copper layer: 0.025mm(25microns), 0.05mm,0.1mm,0.125mm,0.15mm,0.2mm,0.254mm(254microns) and 0.3mm.
Normal shape: two end threaded, one end flat one end tipped. One end threaded one end tipped, and so on.

1) Hot Dip Galvanized 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4 inch Ground Rod
The Plain Rods are used with ground rod clamps for proper electrical contaact.
The soldered type has five turns of #12 soft annedaled copper wire soldered at the upper end.
The Electro -weld type has a 3/8 lnch round bar welded to the upper end portion of the rod.
